Memorandum of Particulars relating to the

two volumes of the Concise Edition of the Laws, herein call-

ed Volumes 1 and 11, and to the Ordinances enacted subse-

quently to the publication of that Edition and herein call-

ed Volume 111.

VOLUME.1.

This Volume comprises 93 Ordinances and contains

610 pp. Of these, 15 Ordinances, comprising 120 pp.,have beer.

repealed. Further, oh the passing within the next few months

of the Code of Civil Procedure and one or two cognate mea- sures, there will be repealed 9 Ordinances comprising 121pp.

Besides, there are in the Volume some 15 pp. of Regulations,

Bye-laws, etc., which have been almost entirely superseded.

The total quantity of dead matter in this Volume is there-

fore 256 pp.

Of the Ordinances in the Volume eight have been amended once, and five have been amended twice.

These amendments are in addition to those which have been

incorporated in the Edition.

VOLUME

11.

This Volume comprises 104 Ordinances and contains

817 pp. Of these, 14 Ordinances, comprising 87 pp., have been

repealed. Further there are in the Volume some 74 pp.of

Regulations, Bye-laws, etc., which have been almost entirely

superseded. The total quantity of dead matter in this Vo-

lume is therefore 161 pp.

Of the Ordinances in the Volume 10

have been amended once, four twice, two three times, two four

times, and two six times. These amendments are in addition

to those which have been incorporated in the Edition.
